Regular visitors to our site will have noticed a change. This is our new website. We have designed it to be as user-friendly as possible and we think that it should be easy for people to use and pretty much self-explanatory. In any case, here’s a quick guide to get the best of the new site. In the meantime, if you have any questions or comments (good, bad or indifferent), please send them to us using the form below and we’ll respond as soon as is humanly possible.
PROPERTY FOR SALE
When you click on this button, all the property currently for sale will pop up – none of the property which is “sale agreed” or “sold” will appear. The order of the properties is chronological, so the most recent entry will appear on top, followed by the next most recent, etc. This means that there’s no more need for the “new to the market” section that we had in the old website as all the newest entries are top of the list.
SALE AGREED/ SOLD
Shows you all the properties that are either sold or sale agreed (where there’s a deal agreed pending the legal closure of the sale).
AREA DESCRIPTIONS
Gives a brief description of the areas that we cover, with links from these leading to the property for sale in each area.

Gives a brief description of the people behind Harrington Estates.
NEWS & VIEWS
In this section, there will be all sorts of articles with useful information, entertaining reading and other comments from the general public relating to all aspects of property, living, eating and drinking in the Bantry area.
SEARCH
Finally, an important feature of our website, which will facilitate your search for a particular kind of property. If, for example, if you are looking for a property with sea views, then type in the words “sea view”. A list of all properties with sea views will appear, as well as a few of the relevant articles from the “News & Views” section. The same thing applies if you are looking for “farms”, “commercial”, “townhouse”, “traditional”, etc. You can also enter the reference number of the property you’re looking for (if you know it) and it will find it immediately.
