Estate Agents in Bantry – The effect of fine weather
Any estate agent in Bantry will tell you that West Cork is just about the most beautiful and wonderful part of the world in sunshine, rain, hail or snow. But, when the sunshine does come out, the place really does feel like a piece of paradise.
A lot of people who come over (from the UK mostly) to Ireland to view property will often say that they would prefer to see property when it’s raining. Indeed, this is often the advice that they are given. The logic here, of course, is that if you fall in love with a property and a place when the weather is atrocious, then you’re going to really savour those spectacular sunsets when the good weather does come along.
There’s a lot to be said for that way of looking at the world. It’s a bit like saying:: “If you love me in the morning, then wait till you see what I’m like when I’ve cleaned up and combed my hair.” Personally, I always think that although people will think logically along the lines of the above, there is nothing to beat the thunderbolt of love-at-first-sight that comes with seeing a property and a region at its very best. If a place has a wonderful view, then unless you see it, and at its best, you won’t know what you’ve msised if you decide not to look at it.
So, here’s to hoping that this current spell of Mediterranean weather continues for some weeks to come.
